The aims of the organization are to:
- EMPOWER parents as an important segment of society,
whose voices need to be heard;
- INFORM - the parent population of current trends and
research, about child development and parenting;
- ENCOURAGE - parents to continue personal development;
- Promote INNOVATION in parenting practices to provide
for the holistic development of our children;
- All this on the basis of OPTIMISM for the future of
parents, our children, our nation and our world.

Services to the Community
Parent Support Facilitators
Barbara King Certified Professional Facilitator
(International Association of Facilitators), is a Facilitator Trainer with TTIPS,
Families In Action and Creative Parenting for the New Era. She has been
involved in Parenting Education since 1993, as researcher and
producer of Baby Talk, aired on Music Radio 97, as Editor of
Parenting Support Newsletter, and as a parenting workshop
facilitator on a wide range of parenting issues.
Marina Torres MSc., is a Child Development and Education Specialist.
Her work involves assessing and addressing the needs of children in
difficulties and their families. A co-founder of TTIPS, Marina regularly
presents workshops around the country. She is also a lecturer in education
at the University of the West Indies.
